Tee-Wee (League Ages 4-7 years)
League Ages are calculated from September to August as set by Little League
Example - September 2016 - August 2017 would classify as 4 year old player
Introduction to the fun of baseball
Non-Competitive
Game length - 3 Innings or 1 Hour (whichever comes first)
Players hit off Tee (no balls, strikes or score is kept)
7 year old's with previous Tee-Wee experience should play Pee-Wee
Pee-Wee (League Ages 7-8 years)
League Ages are calculated from September to August as set by Little League
Example -September 2013 - August 2014 would classify as 7 year old player
Transition year to "real" baseball
Game length - 5 Innings or 1 hour and 15 minutes (whichever comes first)
Innings 1,2 & 3 will be Coach Pitch
Innings 4 & 5 will be Player Pitch
Games are scored, if teams are tied at the end of regulation or 5 innings (whichever comes first) game is over
Minors (League Ages 9-10 years)
League Ages are calculated from September to August as set by Little League
Example - September 2011 - August 2012 would classify as 9 year old player
First Step into real baseball
Game length - 6 Innings or 1 hour and 50 minutes (whichever comes first)
Players are drafted by coach before season starts
Players will pitch all game and will monitor pitch counts, players will have "rest days" that they will not be able to pitch
If after 6 innings are completed, the game is tied a tie-breaker will be played to determine winning team. Extra innings may only be played if the time limit (1 hour 50 minutes) has not been reached. Regular season games may end in a tie.
Teams may travel to surrounding communities
Majors (League Ages 11-12 years)
League Ages are calculated from September to August as set by Little League
Example - September 2009 - August 2010 would classify as 11 year old player
Final Step before school age ball
Game length - 6 Innings or 1 hour and 50 minutes (whichever comes first)
More competitive than Minors
Players will pitch all game and will monitor pitch counts, players will have "rest days" that they will not be able to pitch
